Pain in eye: Can be due to multiple reasons. Sudden pain not lasting more than a few minutes could be from the cornea which has a dense nerve supply: dry eyes, foreign body corneal abrasion, dry eyes. It is best to check with your Ophthalmologiar specially if the pain recurs or lastsonger. Associated signs are blinking, blurred vision, watering eyes and redness. Hope this helps.
