Yes, get it checked!: How large? A mole approaching the size of a pencil eraser is suspicious, especially if it is growing or new. Moles with irregular borders, changes in color, different colors in the same mole, bleeding, itching, or large size are all signs of possible melanoma skin cancer. A dermatologist or primary care physician can check it out. Early detection of melanoma is key!
