Varies: It really depends on the severity of the infection, the complexity of the surgery, and how well you heal. A couple of days to two weeks is a normal range for patients with your specific procedure. Follow instructions, take it easy, and you just may heal a bit faster.

Be patient: Swelling and other symptoms should subside almost entirely within 2-3 weeks after surgical, multiple tooth extraction. Take NSAIDs OTC for inflammation and pain control and continue amoxicillin as prescribed.
