Not specific: As in excitotoxicity is a process suspected of contributing to nerve damage in disease such as ALS, MS, Parkinson's, and Huntington's to name a few. So the damage related to excitotoxicity can manifest in a myriad of ways, just depending on the nerve cells being killed and/or damaged.
