What causes regularly late ovulation ? i hate long cycles like 40 days. i get period 14 days after ovulation still. never had shorter cycles b4.

Growth: Some follicles just take longer to grow and mature than others. It sounds completely normal if you have periods 14 days after ovulation. Just as some children take longer to grow up so do some eggs. Hope this helps.
