? thermometer: His regular temperature appears to be below average and I wonder as to how accurate the thermometer is. Try another one to see if you get the same measurement. I have no ready explanation for the lower temperature while being sick but it is possible that being less active or not eating tends to lower one's temperature. However the accuracy of your thermometer should be verified.
