No: If your period comes early once that probably does not need checked. Do you feel OK otherwise? There can be multiple reasons for periods being early or late that are usually related to stress or other factors, so a one time late or early episode is not concerning. However, if it becomes a pattern you may need to get checked.

No: It is common to have periods that are a few days early, late; that may be heavier or lighter at times. If you miss periods and are not pregnant then you should see a doctor (after 2-3 months of this happening).
