Exam: Make a visit to your primary provider and take the insect. Once he/she knows the problem , she will get treated. In the meantime wash all sheets and towels in hot water. All the best sorting this out.

OTC lice treatment: Are you speaking of head lice or pubic lice? They can be very contagious so you should both be checked. There are several OTC lice treatments or she can see her doctor for a prescription if those are not effective.
