Never started? Or?: DO you mean you have never had a period by age 17? Or you've missed a period? Pregnancy is the number one reason for missing a period. Late or missed ovulation, hands down, is the most frequent reason for a late period in a woman who is not pregnant. There are many reasons this can happen. If no period ever by age 17 please ask again, different set of answers!
