Not necessarily...: It seems that you might be experiencing UTI symptoms that most likely have more to do with the manipulation of genitals which could transfer bacteria to your urinary tract rather than a side effect of the emergency contraception used.I suggest you to go to an urgent care center and get your urine check and treatment as necessary.

Common side effects include: nausea and/or vomiting, abdominal pain fatigue headache menstrual changes dizziness breast tenderness Frequent urination is a common sign of urinary tract infection especially if accompanied by pain or burning with urination. It is wise to have a urine checked any time you experience frequent urination.
