Since weaning my son 6 months ago, I have had lingering breast pain that feels almost like mastitis but never worsens. It comes and goes. No lumps, redness, warmth, or discharge. Some days it hurts under my arm as well, but the pain is not constant.
A few weeks ago i noticed a pea sized hard lump under my arm. No pain, no redness, no visual sign of anything. Should i get my physician to check it ?

What type of lesions might not show up on an MRI or ultrasound? After two ultrasounds, a non-contrast MRI, u/s vein mapping/Doppler - not even edema is showing up on the images, and there are numerous palpable arm lumps (no redness, no heat)?
