Who does the surgery in teaching hospital?

Many: It is usually some form of requirement that the main attending surgeon is present for much of the surgery. There would be many highly trained people including senior surgical residents and well trained experienced surgical nurses as well. There may be more highly trained physicians and nurses at a teaching hospital than many other locations.
