I'm 7 days into cold that turned into bronchitis. no fever, have some energy still coughing up green mucous every now and then. do i need antibiotics?

Need assessment.: With the understanding that 95% of cases of acute bronchitis are viral and therefore not needing of antibiotics, I think you need a proper assessment to make sure it's bronchitis and not something else - there may be some treatment that would be needed and diagnosing yourself may not be helping in that regard.

Bronchitis : A flu can last upto 7 days. The first few days are the worst with fevers, weakness and muscle aches. Coughing up green sputum doesn't mean you have a bacterial infection. If your getting better, then you don't need antibiotics unless your a high risk for further infection, like having diabetes, asthma, COPD. Keep hydrated, try coconut juice. If no better in 3-5 days, then you may need antibiotics.
