Most Likely Yes: Brown discharge is a sign of old uterine bleeding. Sometimes discharge is brown from mixing with fluids or discharge. Sex could have caused some minor trauma causing you to have some light bleeding that you are now seeing as brown discharge. If you continue to have multiple episodes of discharge prior to your cycle, you may need to have this evaluated.
