Interesting question: Kids are always under peer pressure. As kids mature, they become more self assured & independent (usually following ideals instilled by parents) rather than depending on others for validation. College represents a problem in that this is the first place young adults are completely on their own to make good or bad choices. A person is always responsible for their actions high school or college.
