A member asked:

My friend ate some food and believe it made her bp go up to like 130 felt like vomiting, and her right arm felt weird with bad headache?

It may pass: 130 systolic is not high, even though your friend may be used to a lower bp. The stress of being ill may cause a slight elevation of the bp above its usual. Your friend should be ok. The headache sounds like the usual migraine in her history. The right arm feeling weird is not specific for any serious problem. Let it all pass.

She probably ate: something that she was allergic to, or hypersensitive to. This could be similar to something found in many restaurants called monosodium glutamate (Accent).

Tension: it is not too high, but BP may go up due to pain and vomiting.
