Myocarditis: Clearly something has alarmed you about myocarditis since you have asked multiple questions. Myocarditis can be completely asymptomatic and hear can look grossly normal or you may have mild flu-like symptoms. If you have a good reason to suspect myocarditis please consult a cardiologist.

YES: I had myocarditis as a young woman and was critically ill, but I definitely knew it. I was in congestive heart failue, with shortness of breath and swelling to triple the size on my ankles.

Maybe: If you are unsure arrange for an EKG, chest XR and an echo. Generally you will have symptoms, one being shortness of breath. All the best.
