Leg pain: Apply Ice pack for 15 to 20 minutes, elevate legs when you sit in chair, look for other etiology for legs pain like neuropathy, K efficiency, and see your neurologist

Not first task: Idiopathic means 'we do not know'. beofre saying that a weight bearing MRI in a vertical uinit and an EMG[nerve conduction test need to be completed. if no pathology is found then selective nerve blocks, lo voltage therapy, and acupuncture, hypnosis, are safer methods of controlling the discomfort.
