What is the color of anal mucus discharge?

Clear gel like: Normally there should be none. It indicates inflammation,infection, infestation...colitis, proctitis......etc

Varies: It can be clear, bloody, brownish, whitish, or cloudy.If it is bloody or cloudy there may be a rectal issue you need to see a doctor for. If there is pain associated with it, you need to see a doctor. If you are having bad diarrhea and that's all that is coming out, you probably need to at least call a doctor to discuss things.
