What raw materials are needed to produce insulin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insulin: I don't understand your question. A normal pancreas will produce insulin at a rate linked to your overall health. If you have type 1 diabetes the pancreas does produces only a minute amount of insulin so it needs to given, usually by injection. If you have type 2 diabetes the pancreas produces a lot of insulin but it is not enough to keep you blood sugar under control. There are meds for it.
