Aspirin, NSAIDs: Any Aspirin or Aspirin containing products including Alkaseltzer.. Antiinflammatory (NSAID) meds such as Advil, Motrin , ibuprofen etc.. All these can increase your risk of bleeding. Others include, Vit.E, fish oil. Ginsa Alcohol should also be stopped few days before surgery.

Stop taking...: In general, you should stop taking multivitamins, herbals, and aspirin / NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) prior to surgery. That said, your plastic surgeon should give you very specific pre-op instructions that includes a list of medications you should stop taking prior to surgery based on your specific medical history and the procedure you are having.
