A member asked:

What kind of sexually transmitted diseases can be transmitted from an infected father to his son?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None directly: The contribution of the male in pregnancy is limited to a single healthy sperm. No infection is carried by that sperm. If the father brings the STD to mom and she develops a primary infection, dad could give it to the kid through the mother. Syphilis and Herpes are examples that come to mind.
