What is used for doctors to give a diagnosis of diabetes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diagnosis: When you turn up at your doctors to discuss diabetes your blood sugar will be measured when you arrive. If it is high your doctor will then take a history, complete a physical exam, and order appropriate lab tests. As soon as the labs are drawn the doctor will then prescribe what is likely the best choice for you. You will most likely also see a dietitian.
