Pradaxa: Pradaxa is an oral blood clotting preventer. The biggest side effect is bleeding which can be fatal. The person can bleed to death or bleed into the brain and die that way. This side effect is a property of all the blood clotting preventing drugs(anticoagulants)and is not unique to pradaxa.
