A member asked:

What is the best oil i can use to help with joint pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Omega 3 oils: Omega 3 fatty acids will reduce the inflammatory response, so if the joints are inflamed the good sources are fish and fish oil, evening primrose oil an others. These will not do it promptly-it takes weeks to months to replace fatty acids on the cell wall which are involved in the inflammatory response. No oil ingested will "lubricate" the joints.
