A member asked:

What is focal cortical neuronal dysfunction of the temporal lobe? what causes it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

EEG finding: I assume you received this as part of an EEG report. This is not specific but can relate to a localized difference within the functioning of that part of the brain. Sometimes those findings are associated with seizures, but not always. You should follow up with the ordering physician to have further discussions about the finding.
