What is a vaginal fistula? how do you get it?

A fistula is a track: Fistula is a track between the vagina and another organ or to another surface. To treat a fistula one has to know where the track connects to. If the track is between the vagina and the rectum one needs to know how the track originated-after a delivery or surgery or inflammatory process such as crohns disease.
