Surgery: Affected are of urethra should be excised with an adequate margin. This may require partial or total amputation of penis. May also require inguinal lymph node dissection. Urethral cancer is sometimes associated with bladder cancer in both men and women. This can be treated with removal of bladder together with entire urethra plus urinary diversion.
