Many things!: Well.. to begin with your hormones are changing to help the milk let down and flow. You have prolactin and oxytocin that get the milk flowing and contract the muscular ducts in the breasts. Your breasts are adapting to this new breastfeeding economy. They will enlarge to create the right amount of milk for your child. You may feel an incredible sense of well being while you bond with baby.
