It is painful: Appendicitis is an infection of the appendix, cause by obstruction of the appendix lumen. The symptoms start around the belly button for about 12 hrs, then will localized to the right lower quadrant. The pain is worse with movements, or bumps when riding in the car, usually associated with nausea, occasional vomiting, fever, chills, poor appetite, and the patient does not look or feel well.
