What does an optometrist do?
A doctor has provided 1 answer
Correct vision: Optometrists are trained to fit glasses and contacts. They have some training in eye disease but cannot do surgery. They are not MD doctors like ophthalmologists. If you have an eye issue, always start with the real doctor: the Ophthalmologist.
