Lots of stuff: How many red and white blood cells and platelets are there in your blood. Are they the right sizes and shapes and appearances? Anything extra? Any cell type coming up short, or overabundant? There are a great many things that will alter a CBC, and often this is the totally-unexpected tipoff that enables a diagnosis. And many very sick folks have a normal CBC. It's a lifetime's study.
