What disease is caused by holosystolic murmurs?

Murmurs: Holosystolic murmurs are heart sounds associated with insufficiency of the atrioventricular valves and ventricular septal defects. There are other possible holosystolic murmurs but these are the bulk of them. The murmur is purely sound and causes no problem. The physiologic problem causing the sounds is what causes the problem.
