Renin production: Renin (R) is secreted by the kidney when it perceives a reduction in blood volume to elevate and maintain BP. This could be seen in appropriate instances such as dehydration or blood loss. R converts angiotesinogen to angiotensin (A) 1, which gets converted to A 2 which is a constrictor of blood vessels.
