Tattoo: Tattoing can lead to infections with organisms like clostridium tetani, Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus ducreyi, Treponema pallidum & Mycobacterium leprae. It can cause illnesses like sepsis, impetigo, tetanus & erysipelas. I don't know the infection rate - I suspect that it would be different depending on where is it is done.
