What can i expect during a neurological exam?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Amazing things!: The neurological exam is one of the last great skills that a physician is taught in this era of ordering tests and scans to make diagnoses. The exam is broken down into the following categories: mental status, cranial nerves (brainstem nerves), movement, sensation, reflexes, cerebellum, and walking. There is an immense amount of information that can be obtained from this ~20-min test.
