What are the differences between arteriosclerosis and atherosclerosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Same thing: Generally these are two terms for the same phenomenon, build up of cholesterol and plaque in the arteries of the body. This is made worse by high cholesterol and smoking, can run in families and is also more common in diabetics and patients with hypertension exercise, good diet no smoking and control of blood pressure and diabetes are the keys to treatments
