How do you treat microalbuminuria?

Controlling Diabetes: Microalbuminuria is albumin or protein that is leaking out of the kidney into the urine. It can be diagnosed from a 24-hour urine collection (between 30–300 mg/24 hours) or, more commonly, from elevated concentrations in a spot sample (30 to 300 mg/L). Its usually due to poorly controlled diabetes but can be due to primary kidney disease. Treatment is controlling blood sugar and body weight.
