Coffee is good for: you, but like anything else, if you over-use it you will pay the price. Cut your coffee drinking in half for a week, then half again, etc. Get to the point where you can have a cup in the morning and leave it at that. Peace and good health.

Coffee Benefits: I also love coffee.. I usually recommend decreasing by 1 c/ wk, a bit slow but less withdrawal symptoms. Recent evidence suggests coffee is beneficial with decreased risk of diabetes, Parkinson's, dementia, certain cancers, depression & strokes. Regular coffee use actually had a somewhat lower risk of death from CV disease than those who rarely drink coffee.
