Diagnosed w/ double pnue.a week ago. on keflex, promethazine/codeine syrup and albuterol inhaler. still coughing so hard i vomit and pee. help?

Bronchi inflamed : Your pulmonary infection is attracting an inflammatory response, with mucus exudate that you must clear up and out. The cough is a good reflex. Still, you are miserable. Try: hot showers 3x/day, warm salt gargles hourly, a different cough med (Hycodan)(best rx), Ricola or Halls cough drops, tea hourly, and ask about different antibiotic. Are you wheezing? Any asthma tendencies? Predisone ?
