How long ago?: You don't say when this happened. It could be just bruised, and should resolve in about a week but if you have vomiting, fever, black or bloody stools or bloody urine, yellowing of the eyes, or the pain spreads across the abdomen, then go to the ER right away. Avoid ibuprofen, naprosyn and aspirin whenever you have belly pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) instead. Take it easy for now
