Hi,my 1month old cousin has hernia in her navel its getting very large it feels like it going to explode. is there any procedure that can be done?

Possible surgery: Most umbilical hernias in infants are monitored. Most will close by 4 years of age. A hernia that is larger than 5 cm may need surgical treatment. Your cousin should be evaluated by her doctor.
