It is not a period: there is many reasons for a women to have a bloody discharge beside regular period .. it could be a minor trauma from the intercourse,eventually will go away or you might have a small polyp on your cervix that cause the bleeding it could be a hormonal imbalances if bleeding persisted see your doctor or your GYN for proper evaluation and treatment
