Throat pain: Throat burning can be from a lot of different sources. Try mylanta in case it is from acid reflux. Also gets some throat lozenges to help numb the throat.

Depend: it is really depend waht cause the burning. if it is a viral cold infection, you can start with throat lozenges, and take decongestant, and see PCP if is getting worst if it is caused by reflux, the acid in your stomach going all the way up to your throat, and burning it then anti acid, and proper medication and follow a specific instruction to avoid reflux must be in order / see your doctor/
