Sore throats : A persistent sore throat may come from several causes including mononucleosis, sinus infections, night time mouth breathing, smoking and others. If Tylenol (acetaminophen) and gargling are not helping I suggest you see your doctor and get it checked. In the meantime drink lots of fluids and get some good rest. Chicken soup would be good too!!
