What is the treatment for excess pregnancy fluid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not much: There is no easy treatment for excess amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios). Since most cases have no known cause even prevention is difficult. Infrequently, physicians can remove fluid with amniocentesis, that is, removing fluid through a long needle placed into the fluid sac usually under ultrasound guidance.
