Not as effective: The total dose is the same (as long as you drink total volume you diluted), but why do that? If having a problem with Rx form, need to discuss with provider, not self-medicate, which may be source of Rx in first place.

Sublingual meds: The effect is not the same when you dilute a sublingual medication vs using it sublingually. The absorption of the medication will be different. You will get a higher concentration of the medication sublingually than diluting and drinking it in water.
