Makes sense: Hard to argue w/ success. Of course you might not get the same doctor - but that's also true in many medical settings anymore. While you're there ask about how to reduce the likelihood of recurrence. Ask about diet and fluid recommendations and other life style options. You might be able to ask for a referral to the doctor you found so satisfying if s/he has a practice. Best!

CM?!? Or MM?: Likely a 4.5mm stone (just feels like measured in meters while passing), as has chance to pass on own. Pain comes with stone moving. If pain med helps make it bearable, then stay & it will stop when stone in bladder. If severe / comes with nausea & vomiting / pain med doesn't help / pain persists, then go to ER for relief. If 4.5cm, then go to ER as it's a losing battle. Good luck!
