Missed period: Your reproductive system hiccoughed and sloughing was not induced. Most likely, will resume at time for next cycle. It is very common to occasionally have a heavier / lighter / missed period, even if otherwise very regular. Add in any unprotected intercourse episodes, and things can become very confusing. Hopefully your Gyn explained this at least briefly. Good luck and seen what next month brings
