Premature beats...: Usually nothing to worry about unless occurs frequently and accompanied with other symptoms such as lightheadedness. If you lay on your left side at night, you get increased blood flow returning to the heart which can cause palpitations--especially in the setting of mitral valve prolapse (weak valve). These are generally not worrisome--try to avoid lying on left side. EKG and ECHO if worsens.
